- 48 yearsI started full time in 1979, before that I worked part time while in high school and college. I guess you could call me a lifer. While in school I worked various jobs at the dealership from washing cars to changing oil, to delivering parts. In 1979 I started full time in the sales department. Over the years I worked my way from sales person to sales manager to general manager, and now Dealer Principal. I'm lucky enough to come to work every day and work with 33 of the best people I know in the auto industry. I'm also very fortunate to work with my brother James, the sales manager, and to top it off I have two of my kids working at the dealership. My son Paul has been with me 5 years as a sales person, he does an outstanding job with our customers. My daughter Teresa Haycraft has been with me two years and is our General Manager. When I'm not working, my wife Beth and I enjoy quiet time around our backyard fire pit, pontooning on the Fairmont Lakes, and spending time with the 6 grand kids that live in town. We also enjoy traveling to the cities to see our son Patrick and his family. While up there we try to get to some gophers sporting events.

7 years at Fairmont Ford
Here at Fairmont Ford, I order all of the new car inventory. I also work in service helping with billing, scheduling, and helping at the customer counter.
My favorite thing is working with the customers every day and helping them with their car issues. I love ordering new vehicles. I sit back, pick a person and think what could I see them driving. Typically the exact opposite is who ends up buying it.
Outside of work I have always enjoyed playing volleyball and spending time outdoors with my family. My husband, Aaron, is the controller here at the dealership. We have 4 young kids who keep us very busy.

9 years at Fairmont Ford
I started full time at Fairmont Ford in 2012. Before that I spent a little over 5 years in Thief River Falls, MN where I went after college. My primary job here at Fairmont Ford is to ensure customer satisfaction. I do this by having extensive product knowledge and great listening skills. My other duties here are helping out with IT and our phone system, hooking up bluetooth phones for customer and showing them how SYNC works. You have probably heard me on the radio as well. I also seem to get called on if coworkers are having trouble with a computer or have questions. Any problem big or small I can help fix it.The best part of my job is getting to help people find the right vehicle for them. One that is going to fit them and their needs the best. Then you get to see the excitement on their faces when they leave.Outside of work I enjoy camping, fishing, biking, hiking, and spending time with my family and friends. My lovely wife Amber and I have 2 daughters. I am involved in the community at Grace Lutheran church, the Yacht club, Rotary club, Strive, and a Graduate of the Martin County Leadership program.

I am a product knowledge specialist that helps people when they are buying a new or used car. My job is to help them find exactly what they need. I help customers by helping them sort through all of the information available to them now. We can discuss size, options, drive train, or payment to see what makes sense for them.
The best part of my job is building relationships with all of my customers. I enjoy when customers come back and get an oil change and stop by my desk to catch up. Some of my customers I have had for over 17 years. It makes it fun when you really get to know clients.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my lovely wife Mary Ellen, cooking, woodworking and anything Iowa State Cyclones. In the summers you can often find me on the Rose Lake Golf course.

I finalize the paperwork for our customers whether it's financing or leasing a new or used vehicle, or just paying cash.
My favorite part of the job is making my customers enjoy their experience in my office. Helping customers with their payment expectations and educating them on products available is my number one priority. It's a stressful time making all the right decisions and I am thrilled to help them make the right ones.
Outside of work I enjoy boating on the Fairmont lakes and summer vacations on the White Fish Chain are some of my favorite activities. I also enjoy watching high school sporting events, reading and playing piano and organ.
I am involved with my church where I am an organist and also a member of the Chain of Lakes Yacht Club.
My husband Greg and I have raised two children. Garrett is a recent SMSU college graduate and Megan is in her 2nd year at RCTC in Rochester.

Service - 507-235-6681
- 21 years at Fairmont FordBen is our service writer here at Fairmont Ford. Ben is responsible for answering phones and scheduling appointments. His responsibilities, don't stop there he is the go to guy in the shop for anything unknown. What kind of key do you need, how do you reprogram your phone with the sync system, what are the steps on the new recall, what kind of filter does this, new to us, foreign car take. If he doesn't know the answer he will find it. Ben also helps trouble shoot with the technicians, sometimes when the techs have tried everything and it hasn't fixed the vehicle, Ben has the ability to think outside of the box and lead the guys into what to try next. One of the toughest parts of Bens job is putting the mechanical information into laymen's terms so that customers can understand what is wrong with their car and what they need to do to fix it. It is not as easy as Ben makes it look.Outside of work Ben has two sons that go to school here in Fairmont. Their after school activities keep him quite busy.
